However, we also need to use this opportunity to make you aware of the latest delivery service updates from our small parcel carriers. In brief, both FedEx and UPS have suspended guaranteed delivery services and signature requirements. They are delivering to most locations as usual except when the recipient’s location is closed due to local restrictions. If delivery is unsuccessful, they will re-attempt delivery as per their normal operating procedures. However, you may elect to have shipments delivered to alternate holding locations including FedEx and UPS retail locations, as well as Walgreens locations for FedEx shipments. Please help us ensure timely delivery of shipments by confirming that the recipient will be open and able to accept deliveries prior to placing your order. If you suspect a delayed delivery or receive an "exception" status when tracking a shipment, please contact our customer service team for assistance.
FedEx Service Updates:
FedEx has suspended our money-back guarantee for all FedEx Express, FedEx Ground, FedEx Freight and FedEx Office services effective immediately until further notice.
We’ve suspended Signature Required for most shipments.
In the event a delivery location is closed, we will follow our current operating procedures to attempt to complete delivery at a later time.
If a package is on the way and circumstances have changed, there are several options available to update your delivery. Register for FedEx Delivery Manager to request delivery to an alternate location, leave detailed delivery instructions for your FedEx driver, or place a temporary delivery hold on your deliveries for up to 14 days. You may also contact Customer Support with your tracking number or door tag number for assistance with redirecting a package.
If your business recipient is unable to receive a package at their normal business address, our Hold at Location option is available to over 15,000 locations including FedEx Office and Walgreens locations. To find locations where this option is available, go to fedex.com/locate and enter an address, then select "hold at location" from the More drop-down menu.
UPS Service Updates:
Effective March 26, 2020 and until further notice, we have suspended the UPS Service Guarantee for all shipments from any origin to any destination. For all U.S. origin shipments, the Service Guarantee suspension became effective as of March 24, 2020.
Commitment times for UPS Next Day Air Saver® and UPS 2nd Day Air A.M.® services scheduled for delivery on or after March 30, 2020 will be extended to end-of-day until further notice.
If the location is closed, we will hold your shipment and attempt to complete the delivery at a later date if the receiving location has indicated to UPS that it will re-open within 9 days. However, if the location is closed indefinitely, UPS will return the package to the sender. For your convenience, The UPS Store and UPS Access Point locations all provide access to your vital deliveries. Where available, you can sign up for free UPS My Choice which enables you to provide more specific delivery instructions such as where to leave deliveries, or redirect deliveries to another location, and also provides you with the ability to receive delivery notifications.
